Two interviews this week with my friends and colleagues from the 1990s. Al Montag came to Hofstra specifically for the radio station and he blew us all away with his talent. Mark Giordano never went to Hofstra but he joined the station and charmed us all with his laugh and his voice.

Dawn McCarthy walked into Hofstra Radio as a freshman in Fall 1992. She grew up around the corner from Hofstra University and Jeff Kraus and was immediately part of the Hofstra Radio community. Dawn was also part of the transition from Memorial Hall to the new facility in Dempster Hall.
